a beautiful elegant fine sterling silver Scottish thistle brooch with an orange faceted citrine stone for the head of the thistle. Lovely setting - the silver is chased/decorated with thistles.
Marks: Full English hallmarks. WBs makers mark (Ward Brothers). Tree, Rampant Lion, Thistle. date letter a fancy Z that looks like a 3 - I cant find this particular date letter but ward Bros were producing pins in Glasgow cxxxx.
Max Size 1 1/2" diameter.
Condition: Good.
